It was great to attend yet another Bitmain (x MatrixPort) Mining Event, this time unfortunately online.
If you missed it, here is a summary for you
Cynthia Wu — Head of Business Development & Sales Matrixport, opened with great speech about the state of the market and the bright future of Bitcoin, even though at the time of writing Bitcoin is experiencing a +10% correction (BTCUSD: $16760) the crypto community is very bullish on the asset as more institutions and public enter the market.
Su Ke, Sales Director for EMEA & CIS at Bitmain, followed announcing 3 exciting news and products Bitmain has been working on.
Starting with the next step for the Antminer 19 Series, the S19j and S19j Pro.
Su Ke announced as well that Bitmain will be offering an extended warranty for a total of 12 months for all 19 Series Antminer
And finally, the AntRack !
This is Bitmain’s response to an extremely high demand for hashing power from mining farms all around the world. The AntRack will house around a 1000 TH/s, in a modular, flexible and efficient design at 6000 to 7000 W
Pricing will be available around the beginning of 2021 and over 200 units will be sent out to the maximum number of mining farms for testing.
The following presentation was introduced by Cynthia Wu and Eugene Ng — Director of Business Development and Sales at Matrixport on the services they offer for miners to maximise their profits and hedge their risks through various strategies.

In this presentation, Thomas discussed widely how the current mining industry have a strong concentration in China and how Compass is making an effort to decentralise the business by listing various international facilities
